Biography:

Don’t Panic is a high energy Portland-based pop punk band, inspired by many of the bands you love. The band is composed of Mike Cooper (Guitar/Vocals), Nathan Kills (Lead Guitar), Tyler Coleman (Drums), and Brendon Daley (Bass Guitar). Their debut EP Dan the Fish was independently released on November 2nd, 2018.

Dan the Fish is about moving to a new place and making the best of life. Things may not always be easy, but you can always have fun and stay positive. Nate’s melodic riffs drive every song while Mike’s storytelling creates the heart of the record.

From Pennsylvania, Mike and his support fish, Dan, moved to Portland, Maine in 2017. For the first month, Mike slept on Nate’s floor. This is where Don’t Panic began. As they started out on the kitchen floor, Nate and Mike wrote the rough drafts for the first songs for the EP. After meeting with producer Kevin Billingslea, they made plans to record the Dan the Fish EP. They met their drummer, Tyler, in the Spring of 2018 and began to refine their sound. In July of 2018, they spent an entire week working with Kevin at The Halo Studio in Windham, Maine to record Dan the Fish. Soon after, they filmed and released the music video for the debut single of 'Katarina' with director Andrew Bennett alongside the EP.

With big plans in mind, the band is currently booking shows in New England and looking to start touring.
